Entry Level Software Technician

Our Product Development Department is currently seeking an entry level software technician to contribute to the design and implementation of our software solutions.  The candidate will have an opportunity to work with and learn from designers and programmers in a flexible and creative environment. This position is targeting individuals with a strong interest in learning software development and technical support. You must meet the minimum requirements to be considered.

Technical Qualifications:

• 1 years of development experience
• 1 years development of desktop software using Windows forms
• 1 years of one of the following languages C#/VB.Net/VB
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
• Strong technical background

Experience and Skills:

General Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal is a must
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with members of other groups
• Experience working in small collaborative groups
• Ability to work independently
• Strong acquisition and retention skills

Responsibilities:

• Work with Product Management and programming staff to assist in development and support of cutting edge applications..
• Assist in the development of reusable software components
• Testing of software applications and components
• Follow company control policies
• Interface with customers in order to provide support as needed
• Installation and support of all products

Optional Qualifications:

• Experience in the accounting/payroll industry.
• Understanding of web applications
• SQL Server Experience
• Knowledge of networking
